Over there and back. Story about puppeteers' polish-czechoslovak and polish-czech-slovak contacts in Silesia.
The book relates the unprecedented presence of Czech and Slovak artists in the Polish puppet theatre of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Basic questions revolve around issues of penetration of influences and inspirations between Czech, Slovak and Polish puppet theatres, as well as the question whether or not and to what extent such a significant presence of Czech and Slovak artists in the Polish puppet theatre is conditioned by the weakening condition of the Polish theatre, the opening of the borders, a community cultural references to the united Europe, or maybe it is a result of constant fluctuations resulting from geographical and historical proximity of our nations.
The screenings of animated films will be accompanied by an interactive installation by Grzegorz Rogala.
